World book day

World book day.

We love books and we love to read!

Every year we have a different focus for world book day.

 'The bear and the piano' where staff rehearsed and performed the story for the whole school - with a real bear (well maybe!)

 

We  invited parents in for bedtime stories with hot chocolate and cookies. 

 

We also had a reading breakfast for parents and carers.

 

We studied 'The day the crayons quit' and each class dressed in a different colour. We even had multicoloured lunches to match!

 

For Roald Dahl day we had a company perform George's Marvellous Medicine and then each class  took part in individual workshops.

 

We love reading to each other.
