    Today our Key Stage 2 classes have taken part in Mini Medics Workshops where they have learnt basic first aid including CPR and the recovery position.  Here are some year 6 children enjoying their session.

    We had our first 'Freedom Friday' where we merged the whole school for morning break. The children really enjoyed their breaktime playing in different areas of the school grounds and it gave everyone an insight into how our playtimes are going to improve!

    Congratulations to our Boy's A Team who won the CADSSA A League Football last night. They showed fantastic sportsmanship and respect to their opposition, and played brilliantly! Well done St Thomas'!!

  • Prickly Visitors in School!!!

    Today Reception and Years 1 & 2 were visited by baddeley green hedgehog rescue centre 07917161491 Charity Number 1200147. The children loved seeing the hedgehogs, and the donations of cat food were gratefully received. They have learnt that if you see a hedgehog out during the daytime it needs to be taken to the a rescue centre as it will be cold.

  • Future Star Award for Calvin

    We are extremely proud of Calvin, one of our pupils at St Thomas’ Catholic Primary School who last night received a Future Star Award from the Staffordshire Community Your Heroes Ceremony. He was nominated by the mum of one of his classmates for organising a hiking fundraiser for their family. Calvin had a lovely time and received some wonderful prizes! Well done Calvin!
