Maths homework this week.

Ask your child to choose 1 colour and fill the 10 frame full. 

(Children can then explore to find all the different ways to make the total 10.)

Ask the children to write the number sentences that matches the 10 frame. 

10+0=10

Children should then, methodically, change 1 counter to a different colour at a time and write the corresponding number sentence. 

E.G change one of the 10 blues to a red and now write the number sentence 

9+1=10

Change another and write 

8+2=10

continue until all pairs of numbers to 10 have been written.
