RE - We are beginning to think about advent. This is the preparation time before Jesus was born. In class we are making advent wreaths. I will be sending an advent wreath picture home this week. Can you ask your child to colour it in the correct colours. 1 candle should be white (for Christmas day), 3 purple (candle of hope, preparation and love) and a pink (the candle of joy). The green wreath is a circle to show Jesus' everlasting love. 

Maths - In maths we are thinking about parts and whole. This is where the 2 numbers we add together are the parts and the total is the "whole".
