During the Spring Term, the Thursday PE slot will be based on fine motor skills and co-ordination. This will be an indoor PE session.
On Tuesday, PE will also be indoor and this will be focused on gymnastics. This session ill be taught by Mrs Gidman.

Blessed Carlo Acutis
Carlo Acutis was a young man who loved to play with his PlayStation, who enjoyed eating and who talked a lot, being quite of a class clown. He will always be remembered, however, for combining his passion for computers and his great love for the Eucharist.
In year 4 we are focusing on our times tables due to the times tables check in the year 4 curriculum. Every week we will be completing challenges on TTRS for homework. The children will be expected to complete 3 10-minute sessions over a course of a week. Times tables starter activities at the beginning of their maths lessons will be everyday practice throughout the Spring and Summer term. The children will be tested on their times tables every Friday morning.
Being fluent in their times tables is a a year 4 focus, and the children will regularly have opportunities to practice them with focused lesson starters, home learning, whole class work and group challenges too.
